Clippers charge over Eagles with 9-0 victory

The Clippers hosted the Post University Eagles today in a CACC match-up.  The number one doubles team of Alex Grubin and Andrey Boldarev were in fine form as they dominated their Eagle opponents from the first point.  Grubin and Boldarev defeated their opponent 8-0. 

The number two doubles team of Andreas Lindell and Tamas Dobrotka followed as they held court.  With having no break of their own serve, Lindell and Dobrotka broke their opponents serve four times in a row to capture the 8-0 win.

Felix Missal and Raphael Namias, playing at number three doubles, continued to play well as they were dominate as ever.  Missal and Namias went 8-0 over their opponents and gave the Clippers the 3-0 lead in the match heading into the singles portion of the match. 

A ndrey Boldarev, at the number two singles spot, finished his singles match in a short amount of time.  Coming to net quite often, Boldarev was able to have some volley winners and defeat his opponent 6-0; 6-0. 

Raphael Namias, playing at the number three spot, was off court quicker than his usual style of play.  Namias, usually taking his time, held court and was dominate as his held serve and was able to break his opponents serve every time.  Namias took the 6-0; 6-0 victory to give the Clippers the match win over the Eagles. 

Alex Grubin, playing at the number one singles position, started on pace as he headed toward another win.  Grubin playing well won 6-2 in the first set.  After his first set win, Grubin went on cruise control in the second and defeated his opponent with a 6-1 second set victory.

Tamas Dobrotka, hitting at the number four single spot, was playing with confidence as he was able to hold court as he was completely dominate.  Dobrotka defeated his Eagle opponent in straight sets with no breaks on his own serve and a score of 6-0; 6-0.

Shaolin Chandam continued to play well as he took on the number five spot.  With only giving up one game in each set was able to finish quickly with a 6-1; 6-1 score. 

Finishing out the Clippers win was Dane Ostilly as he took on the number six spot.  Ostilly played focused as he was able to hold court and gain a 6-0; 6-0 victory and the Clippers the sweep once again.
