Bronxville, NY - Clippers Men's Tennis Team to be honored
On Tuesday, January 19th the Concordia College NY
Clippers Men's Tennis Team will be honored as they have been ranked
9th in the ITA/NCAA Division II. The team will be
honored during the Women's and Men's Basketball double header with
Post University that night. Before the men's basketball game
Alex Grubin and Andrey Boldarev
will throw the honorary jump ball to open up the second half of
the home season for the teams.
Alex Grubin and Andrey Boldarev are currently ranked atop the
East Region and in the country for the NCAA Division II/ITA in
doubles play. Grubin and 
Boldarev are also ranked in singles. Grubin maintains his #1
slot in the East Region along with his #2 spot in the
country. Boldarev stays steady at #2 in the East Region while
his moves up from #33 to #3 in the country in singles.
Following in Grubin and Boldarev steps are fellow teammates
Raphael Namias who is currently ranked #4, Tamas Dobrotka ranked
#5, Andreas Lindell ranked
#6 and Felix Missal ranked #8 in singles play for the East
Region. Namias and Missal fall right behind Grubin and
Boldarev in doubles rankings at the #2 spot while Dobrotka and
Lindell are slotted at #3 in doubles for the East Region.
The ceremony is scheduled for 7:00pm.
