Andreas Lindell, a freshman from Sweden, was named as the CACC Player and Rookie of the Week for the week ending may 9th. Lindell is the sixth player on the Clippers squad to earn Player of the Week and this also marks his 4th Rookie of the Week honor.
Andreas helped lead the Clippers through the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament as they head back to the Sweet 16. He went 4-0 in the two matches played as he was the only singles player to finish both singles matches. Lindell surrendered just one game through both singles matches and two games in his doubles matches.
