BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York men's soccer team makes its first trip to the College of Staten Island in program history on Wednesday, Sept. 11 for a 4 p.m. contest.

About the Clippers
Concordia (0-1) plays its second-straight contest against a brand new foe after falling in its season opener at Saint Michael's College 3-0 on Saturday, Sept. 7.

Senior midfielder Cristian Perez (Boynton Beach, Fla.) and junior forward Dennis Limani (Norderstedt, Germany) both took two shots in the season opener, with all of Limani's landing on target. Senior defender Valmed Marki (Yonkers, N.Y.), sophomore midfielder Nikolas Piel (Bremen, Germany) and junior forward Nemanja Zivanovic (Belgrade, Serbia) all added a quality shot attempt at Saint Michael's.

Sophomore keeper Christopher Kaev (Melbourne, Australia) tallied a team-best two saves in 17:34 minutes of play against the Purple Knights, while junior goalie Mikael Varin (Toulouse, France) logged 75:26 minutes with one save and three goals allowed.

About the Dolphins
Staten Island (1-1) hosts the Clippers after splitting a pair of contests at the Cialella Soccer Classic, ending play with the program's first win since beginning the transition process to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II via a 2-1 decision against Rowan University on Sunday, Sept. 8.

Christian Puccio and Philip Lefkowitz both have one goal on the year, with Lefkowitz taking a team-best six shot attempts with half on goal while Puccio has three total shots with all on target.

Both Christian Carucci and Jake Foeldes have defended the Dolphins' goal for a complete game, with Carucci stopping eight shots while only allowing one goal to earn CSI's lone victory so far.
