Concordia Falls at Bloomfield, 1-0

Bloomfield, N.J. – The Concordia men's soccer team traveled to face Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) foe Bloomfield College on Tuesday night. Only one goal would be scored in the game as the Deacons edged out a 1-0 victory over the Clippers for their sixth win of the season.

Bloomfield's goal came in the 65th minute of play as a shot on goal would be rebounded and tucked away for the eventual game winning goal. Concordia would take 14 shots in the game with only four of the shots being on target. The Clippers also had five corner kick opportunities but could not find the equalizer.

Freshman goalkeeper Ruel Gordon (Savanna La Mar, Westmoreland, Jamaica) recorded six saves in the loss for Concordia. This is the 3rd time this season the Clippers suffered a one-goal loss.

Concordia (5-8-1, 3-6-1 CACC) will pay in their last regular season game on Wednesday, October 24th. The Clippers will travel to Caldwell for a 3:30pm match at Caldwell Field.
