Men’s Golf Sets Season-Lows At Le Moyne Fall Invitational

MANLIUS, N.Y. – The Concordia College (N.Y.) men's golf team ended the fall campaign on a positive note over the weekend, using five season-lows for a fall-best 597 (+21) final score to finish fifth as a team at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational.

NOTES
• The Le Moyne Fall Invitational featured 12 programs and 74 student-athletes.

• Robert Wesleyan College finished first with a 583 (+7) score. Laval University and Southern New Hampshire rounded out the top-three with scores of 585 (+9) and 588 (+12)

• Antoine Roy from Laval and Brandon Grzywacz from Robert Wesleyan tied for the top individual with 139 (-5) scores.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Freshman Gabe Goodman (Lakewood, Colo.) shot back-to-back 72 cards for a personal-record 144 (E) final score that marks the lowest 36-round outing by a Clipper this season and placed seventh individually.

• Sophomore Minwoo Park (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) shot a season-low 73 in the opening round followed by a 75 in the second round for a season-best 148 (+4), tying for 11th.

• Senior Kanoon Bunthanawong (Chonburi, Thailand) finished with a season-best 150 (+6) score behind rounds of 77 and 73 to tie for 20th.

• Senior Evan Hong (Houston, Texas) fired a season-best 155 (+11) with rounds of 76 and 79 to finish in a tie for 39th.

• Freshman Kieran McMullen (Castle Pines, Colo.) rounded out the team scores with a personal-best 160 (+16) mark, shooting a 78 in the opening round and 82 in the second to tie for 58th.

• Competing as an individual, sophomore Santiago Luna (Bogota, Columbia) shot an 80 in the first round and 76 in the second for a 156 final score that tied for 43rd.
