Purchase, NY – The Concordia College Clippers men's golf team competed in the 1st Annual Purchase College Classic on Tuesday at the Fairview Country Club. With a team score of 317, the Clippers won the event by 56 strokes over Purchase.
Concordia was led by Jeffrey Schaller (Kingston, NY) and Eutimio Fernandez-Meade (Mexico City, Mexico) who both shot a 3-over 75 while Sam Deitte (St. Louis, MO) finished right behind them with a 78. Will Deitte (St. Louis, MO) rounded out the field for the Clippers with an 89, placing him fifth overall out of eight players in the event.
Purchase College finished the match with an overall score of 373 in the two team field. Jonas Borra (New York, NY) led the Panthers with an 87 while Mike Zeffiro (Brant, NY) ended the day with a 91.
Concordia will next participate in the Sage Invitational at Sycamore Country Club in Ravena, NY on October 15th.
