BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York men's basketball team hosts its third 2019 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II Men's Basketball Tournament participant of the season on Wednesday, Jan. 15 when defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament Champion Dominican College (N.Y.) comes to the Meyer Athletic Center for a 7 p.m. matchup.

Sitting fifth in the latest D2SIDA East Region Media Poll, Dominican (12-3, 5-1 CACC) travels to Concordia after besting Wilmington University (Del.) 76-69 on Saturday, Jan. 11The Chargers average 86.6 points on a .501 clip with 37.9 rebounds, 16.8 assists, 9.3 steals and 4.7 blocks.

Tavon Ginyard leads five Chargers averaging double-digit points with 18.3, fifth-best rate in the league, with Jonathan Garcia orchestrating the attack behind a team-leading 5.1 assists that sits third within the CACC and 12.7 points while sparking the defense behind 2.3 steals which ranks second. Jason Copman pulls down a team-high 8.5 rebounds with 1.9 blocks, ranking fourth and third in the league respectively, with Daraja Rodwell, Jalen Burgess and Tedrick Wilcox chipping in 14.0, 10.8 and 10.1 points respectively.
