BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Redshirt-senior guard Cedrick McFadden (Washington, D.C.) scored 27 points in his final collegiate contest in the Meyer Athletic Center with fellow senior guard Michael Demello (White Plains, N.Y.) adding 17, but a streak of five-consecutive three pointers from visiting Jefferson University during a pivotal four-minute stretch in the second half of a back-and-forth Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) battle propelled the Rams past the Concordia College New York men's basketball team, 86-77.

• Concordia falls to 9-15, 6-9 in CACC play.
• Jefferson, the fifth-ranked team in the most recent D2SIDA East Region Media Poll, improves to 18-6, 13-2 in league action.
• Prior to the start of the contest, the Athletic Department recognized the senior class of McFadden, Demello, forward Stephen Milhaven (Port Washington, N.Y.) and guard Jayson Cethoute (Queens, N.Y.).
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• McFadden shot 5-10 from beyond the arc and 9-20 overall.
• Demello went 6-12 from the floor and 3-6 from distance.
• Sophomore forward Alex White Jr. (Middletown, Conn.) pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds with two blocks and a steal.
• Sophomore guard Baron Goodridge (Bronx, N.Y.) chipped in 14 points on 5-6 shooting with a team-high three assists.
• For Jefferson, Deondre Bourne scored 33 points while Kylan Guerra recorded 19 points with six assists and DeVaugn Mallory pulled down 16 boards.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Jefferson scored seven of the opening 10 points to hold an early 7-3 lead with 15:43 remaining in the half.
• A basket and triple from McFadden back-to-back propelled Concordia to an 8-7 advantage with 13:49 to play in the half.
• Jefferson reclaimed the lead on the ensuing possession with a three pointer, but a pair of McFadden free throws sparked an 8-4 stretch that put the Clippers ahead 15-12 with 11:27 remaining in the half.
• Following a Rams layup that made it a one-point game, a 9-2 Concordia run extended the separation to 24-16 with 6:55 left in the half.
• With Concordia still ahead 30-26, a 9-0 Jefferson rally propelled the visitors to a 35-30 advantage with 1:19 remaining in the half
• Demello scored the final basket of the half, creating a 35-32 score at the intermission.
• After both sides scored on their initial possessions of the second half via a Milhaven layup and Jefferson triple, back-to-back three pointers from McFadden and Demello sandwiching a Rams' laup evened the score at 40-all with 17:48 to play.
• Jefferson reclaimed the lead off a 4-0 run, but a 7-0 Concordia retort propelled the Clippers to a 47-44 advantage with 15:15 left in the contest.
• The visitors responded with a 7-0 run of their own to take a 51-47 lead, with a three-point play from freshman forward Devon Sims (Centreville, Va.) and triple from sophomore guard Jared Young (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) in a 6-1 rally pushing the Clippers to a 53-52 lead with 10:28 remaining.
• The two sides continued trading blows, with neither side holding a lead greater than three until a 12-4 stretch fueled by four Jefferson triples created a 73-68 score with 2:47 to play.
• A pair of free throws from Demello made it a one-possession game, only for a fourth-straight basket from beyond the arc by Jefferson extending the separation to 76-70 with 2:09 remaining in the contest.
• Jefferson created a game-high 10-point lead at 81-71 with 34 seconds left in the contest, with Jefferson added five points to its total from the free throw line while Goodridge, Demello and McFadden all scored baskets in the final 30 seconds.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• The Clippers converted on 27-62 shots, going 13-28 from three-point territory and 10-18 from the free throw line.
• Jefferson finished 26-58 from the field, 13-22 from distance and 21-24 from the free throw line.
• Concordia recorded 13 assists while Jefferson had 20.
• Jefferson held a 42-33 advantage in rebounds.
• Concordia had seven turnovers, resulting in 10 points for Jefferson. The Rams had nine turnovers, leading to seven Clippers' points.
• Concordia' bench scored 20 points while the visitors got five from its bench.
• Concordia recorded two steals with two blocks while Jefferson stole the ball twice with one block.
