BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College (N.Y.) men's basketball team hosts its first opponent of the new year on Saturday, Jan. 5 in a 3 p.m. Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest against Goldey-Beacom College.

About the Clippers
Concordia (4-8, 1-2 CACC) returns to its homecourt, where the Clippers' lone CACC victory this season came, after a last-minute rally at Bloomfield College fell short in a 75-73 decision on Wednesday, Jan. 2. The Clippers average 76.5 points on a .438 field goal percentage with 37.1 rebounds, 12.6 assists, 5.1 steals and 2.6 blocks.

The Clippers have two student-athletes ranked in the top-10 of the CACC in scoring with redshirt senior guard Cedrick McFadden (Washington, D.C.) and senior forward Stephen Milhaven (Port Washington, N.Y.) sitting sixth and 10th with averages of 18.2 and 16.8, respectively, while McFadden dishes out the third-most assists per game in the league at 4.9. Milhaven pulls down a team-leading 7.6 rebounds, seventh-best average in the conference, and is joined in the top-10 by sophomore forward Alex White Jr. (Middleton, Conn.) who chips in 7.2 that ties for ninth in the CACC on top of a 1.4 blocks per game rate that places third and 10.6 points. Senior guard Michael Demello (White Plains, N.Y.) records a team-high 1.0 steals, while sophomore guard Baron Goodridge (Bronx, N.Y.) rounds out the quartet of Clippers that average double-digit points with 10.4.

About the Lightning
Goldey-Beacom (6-6, 4-0 CACC) sits atop the CACC South Division, staying undefeated in league play after besting Chestnut Hill College 83-63 on Wednesday, Jan. 2. The Lightning leads the league in scoring with 82.8 points on a .456 clip on top of 35.3 rebounds, 14.2 assists, 9.1 steals and 2.3 blocks.

Corey Tatie paces the Lightning, and ranks second in the league, with 19.5 points while dishing out 4.6 assists that ranks sixth in the conference and 1.8 steals that ties for seventh. Dwayne Dixon records a team-leading 6.8 rebounds with 10.7 points, while Marcellus Livingston and Mahir Johnson chip in 14.3 11.4 points, respectively.
