BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Senior guard Michael Demello (White Plains, N.Y.) scored a three-pointer in the final seconds of regulation on Friday evening to send the Concordia College (N.Y) men's basketball team's non-conference contest against Queens College (N.Y.) to overtime, where a last-second jump shot from redshirt-senior guard Cedrick McFadden (Washington, D.C.) propelled the Clippers to an 83-82 victory over the visiting Knights.

• Concordia improves to 3-4.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Senior center Stephen Milhaven (Port Washington, N.Y.) scored a team-high 21 points on 7-14 shooting with seven rebounds and a block.
• McFadden scored 18 total points with eight assists and a steal.
• Sophomore forward Alex White Jr. (Middletown, Conn.) pulled down a team-best nine rebounds.
• Demello finished the game with 13 points and four assists.
• Sophomore guard Baron Goodridge (Bronx, N.Y.) chipped in 14 points.
• For Queens, Keenan Gorski scored 21 points while Wayne Li recorded eight rebounds and Dwayne Henry Jr. tallied six assists
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Queens opened the contest on a 5-0 run, with a Demello three-pointer getting Concordia on the scoreboard and making it 5-3 with 17:51 remaining in the half.
• Concordia evened the score at 11-all, with the two sides exchanging three pointers before an 11-4 Queens run made it 25-17 with 8:08 to go in the half.
• The Clippers rallied with eight of the ensuing 10 points to make it a one-possession contest at 27-25, only for a 6-2 stretch for the visitors creating a six-point cushion at 33-27 with 1:49 remaining.
• Queens used a late three pointer to create a seven-point lead at 38-21 with 26 second remaining before a triple for sophomore guard Jared Young (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) as time expired making it 38-34 at halftime.
• The two sides exchanged baskets in the opening minute of the second half, with the Clippers cutting the gap down to two at 43-41 before a 15-5 stretch for Queens created a 12-point separation at 58-46 with 10:30 remaining.
• Concordia rallied and knotted the score at 60-all with 6:21 to play, adding a Milhaven layup to take a 62-60 lead before a 6-1 run for the visitors made it 66-63 with 3:40 to go.
• Three-straight points for McFadden evened the score at 66-66, with the two side splitting the final 10 points of regulation to send the game to overtime at 71-71.
• Queens used a 6-2 start to overtime to take a 77-73 lead with 3:30 to go. A Milhaven jumper and three pointer for McFadden propelled Concordia to a 78-77 advantage, with a pair of free throw from the visitors flipping the one-point advantage at 79-78 with 2:02 to go.
• A pair of Milhaven free throw gave the Clippers the lead at 80-79, while a layup and made free throw for the Knights made it 82-80 with 14 seconds left.
• McFadden scored the final three points of the contest, all coming in the final 10 seconds.

• The Clippers converted on 29-67 shots, going 8-21 from three-point territory and 17-29 from the free throw line.
• Queens finished 30-59 from the field, 9-23 from distance and 13-18 from the free throw line.
