NEW CASTLE, Del. – Sophomore second baseman Jake Partridge (Bardonia, N.Y.) tallied two RBI in each outing of the Concordia College New York baseball team's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader at regionally-ranked Wilmington University (Del.) on Saturday afternoon with junior right-handed pitcher Jacob Bannon (Glendale, N.Y.) establishing a new career high in innings pitched in the first contest against the defending CACC Champions, with the Clippers falling in the opener 5-2 behind a late rally from the host before a 14-4 setback in game two.
NOTES
• Concordia falls to 11-28, 6-18 in CACC play.
• Wilmington, ranked fifth in the most recent National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) improves to 25-15, 14-10 in league action.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS (GAME 1)
• Partridge went 1-4 with two RBI.
• Senior shortstop Tyler Epple (Levittown, N.Y.) went 1-3 with one run scored and one walk.
• Bannon tossed a career-high 7.1 innings, allowing five runs with four earned off 10 hits in the loss.
• For Wilmington, Kendell Small went 3-4 with a home run, two runs scored and one RBI while Julian Kurych went 1-4 with a home run. Dan Hyatt got the start, allowing two runs off five hits in 7.0 innings with seven strikeouts to earn the win while Zach Frederick tossed the final two innings without allowing a run for the save.
HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 1)
• Wilmington took an early lead off a one-out home run from Kurych in the bottom of the first, with Small following with a single and stealing home to give the host a 2-0 edge.
• Concordia loaded the bases in the top of the fourth off back-to-back singles and one walk, with Partridge sending junior third baseman Kendell Luquis (New Rochelle, N.Y.) home on a grounder to make it 2-1.
• Keeping the top of the sixth alive with a two-out single, Epple touched home plate off a Partridge single to knot the score at 2-all.
• Leading off the bottom of the seventh with a single, Max Carney rounded the bases off a Joey Cautillo single to push Wilmington ahead 3-2 .
• Reaching base on a Concordia error following a solo home run from Small with one out in the bottom of the eighth, Eddie Nevins scored off a Carney grounder to create the final score.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE (GAME 1)
• Concordia recorded six hits while the Wildcats had 10.
• The Clippers left six runners on base, Wilmington stranded five.
• Concordia committed two errors.
• Wilmington stole three bases.

• Rinaldi went 2-3 with two RBI and one run scored.
• Partridge went 1-4 with two RBI.
• Sophomore RHP Daniel Borysowski (Melville, N.Y.) got his first start on the mound of the season, allowing five runs off six hits in 3.1 innings.
• Impeduglia tossed 1.1 scoreless innings.
• For Wilmington, Carney went 2-3 with two runs scored, two RBI and one walk while Dakota Graham went 1-3 with three runs scored, three walks and one RBI. Tyler Campbell tossed 3.1 innings in a start on the mound, allowing three runs off five hits, with Ryan Bradigan holding the Clippers to one run over 2.2 innings to receive the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 2)
• Rinaldi and Epple recorded back-to-back singles with one out in the top of the first, with the pair scoring off a Partridge double to take an early 2-0 advantage.
• Leading off the bottom of the first with a walk, Quintin Ivy platted Dakota Graham on a single to make it 2-1.
• Getting a pair of runners on base via back-to-back walks with one out in the top of the fourth, Rinaldi sent senior right fielder Andre Jackson (Massapequa, N.Y.) and senior center fielder Jaylin Martinez (Paramus, N.J.) home on a two-out double to extend the separation to 4-1.
• Wilmington loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the fourth and used a walk, fielding error and single to score four runs and propel the host to a 5-4 lead.
• Loading the bases with no outs in the bottom of the fifth, Wilmington scored all three base runners off back-to-back singles with a sacrifice fly and three bases-loaded hits adding six more runs to create a 14-4 score.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE (GAME 2)
• Concordia recorded seven hits, the Wildcats tallied 13.
• The Clippers left seven runners on base, Wilmington stranded nine.
• Both sides committed two errors.
• Concordia stole one base, Wilmington stole five.
