BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Senior shortstop Tyler Epple (Levittown, N.Y.) and sophomore left fielder Jake Partridge (Bardonia, N.Y.) both recorded multiple hits in each of the Concordia College New York baseball team's contests on Tuesday afternoon, but visiting Post University began the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader with a leadoff home run and never took its foot off the gas with seven total home runs in a pair of setbacks via 17-6 and 15-1 scores.

• Concordia falls to 7-16, 2-6 in CACC play.
• Post improves to 8-10, 6-2 in league action.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS (GAME 1)
• Junior center fielder Nick Vlahakis (Oceanside, N.Y.) went 2-5 with two runs scored and one RBI.
• Partridge went 3-4 with a run scored.
• Epple went 2-4 with two RBI.
• Junior RHP Michael Romano (Yonkers, N.Y.) got the start on the mound, allowing eight runs with seven earned off 11 hits with five strikeouts in 4.2 innings.
• For Post, Rosario Missiti went 4-2 with two runs scored with two RBI and a walk while Travious Ford went 3-4 with a home run four runs and two walks. Tyler Kovalewich got the start for Post, allowing six runs with five earned off eight hits with nine strikeouts over 6.0 innings.
HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 1)
• Ford opened the contest with a leadoff home run to give Post an early 1-0 lead
• Leading off the top of the second with a walk, Matt Goehrig touched home plate off a double from Isaias Guzman to make it 2-0.
• Reaching base via a Clippers' error, Ford rounded the bases on a Missiti base hit in the top of the third to extent the separation to 3-0
• Leading off the bottom of the forth with a double, Vlahkis rounded the bases off a sophomore catcher Josh Corredor (St. Cloud, Fla.) single with a base hit from senior right fielder Andre Jackson (Massapequa, N.Y.) sending sophomore first baseman Hermes Abreu (Bayshore, N.Y.) home to make it 3-2.
• Five-straight hits for Post to start the top of the fifth, capped by a home run from Goehrig created an 8-2 score.
• Leading off the bottom of the fifth with a single, Partridge scored off a Vlahakis single with junior second baseman Kendell Luquis (New Rochelle, N.Y.) touching home base on a throw from Post's catcher trying and catch Vlahakis stealing second before an Epple double sent the junior home to make it 8-5.
• Scoring six runs off a pair of homers from Nicholas Gastin and Christian Aliberti plus one off a Goehrig base hit, Post pulled ahead 15-5.
• Concordia managed to load the bases in the bottom of the sixth with two outs, sending senior third baseman John Calabrese (Lodi, N.J.) home on a hit by pitch to make it 15-6.
• Post used a double from Guzman to plate Goehrig in the top of the seventh to take a 16-6 lead.
• The Eagles created the final score with a Guzman homer in the ninth.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE (GAME 1)
• Concordia recorded 11 hits while the Eagles had 22.
• The Clippers left 12 runners on base, Post stranded 10.
• Concordia had two error, Post committed one.
• Both sides stole two bases.

• Epple went 3-4.
• Partridge went 2-3.
• Junior RHP Enrico Locascio (Staten Island, N.Y. got the start on the mound, allowing seven runs with four earned off six hits with five strikeouts in 3.2 innings.
• For Post, Aliberti went 4-4 with four runs scored and four RBI. Trenton Taylor tossed a complete game for the Eagles, striking out six Clippers in the winning effort.
HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 2)
• Post loaded the bases in the top of the first with two outs, sending a pair of runners home off a base hit from Gastin to take a 2-0 lead.
• Leading off the top of the third with a single, Post doubled its score with a two-run home run from Tyler Melko
• Post took advantage of a pair Clippers' errors in the top of the fourth to score three runs and take a 7-0 advantage.
• The Eagles created a 15-0 advantage in the top of the seventh with eight runs off as many hits including a Missiti home run.
• Reaching base via a hit by pitch, junior pinch hitter Peter Lawless (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) got Concordia on the scoreboard off a one-out single from junior catcher Denny DeLos Santos (Queens, N.Y.) to create the final score.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE (GAME 2)
• Concordia tallied nine hits while the Eagles had 17.
• The Clippers left 11 runners on base, Post stranded seven.
• Concordia committed three errors.
