Concordia (4-8) heads to Mercy after splitting its eight contests in South Fla., last week, ending the trip with a 4-0 setback against Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday, Mar. 9 after besting the Fighting Owls 12-7 the previous night.

Sophomore Jake Partridge (Bardonia, N.Y.) places second in the CACC with six stolen bases and fourth in runs scored with 13 while freshman outfielder Matt Rinaldi (Eastchester, N.Y.) ties for fifth in the conference with 11 RBI.

On the mound, Concordia sports a team ERA of 5.84, second-best in the CACC, with the third-most strikeouts within the league at 86 to go with 49 walks in 103.1 innings. Junior RHP Michael Romano (Yonkers, N.Y.) logs a team-leading 16.1 innings, tied for fourth in the conference, over three starts with a win while fellow junior righty Enrico Locascio (Staten Island, N.Y.) fans a team-high 12 batters that ties for ninth in the league with a victory. Freshmen Sean Malamud (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Logan Vallias (East Northport, N.Y.) both have a win, with junior right-handed pitcher Jacob Bannon (Glendale, N.Y.) sporting a 2.89 ERA over four appearances.

Mercy (4-9), hosts the Clippers fresh off a weekend series victory at Virginia State University, falling in the opener 4-1 before back-to-back 10-9 and 8-3 triumphs.
