BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York baseball team embarks on its spring break trip to take on Stonehill College, Queens College, Lynn University, Bloomfield College and Southern Conn. State in South Florida for a total of eight games between Sunday, Mar. 3 and Saturday, Mar. 9.

About the Clippers
Concordia (0-4) treks to the Sunshine State after taking on four teams in Myrtle Beach, S.C. currently ranked in the most recent National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) East Region Poll. 

The Clippers are hitting .209 (31-148) as a team with a .297 slugging percentage off the strength of four doubles and three home runs while tallying 17 RBI and 23 walks. Senior outfielder Andre Jackson (Massapequa, N.Y.) leads three Clippers with a batting average over .300 with a .583 clip on top of a 1.000 slugging percentage off a team-high two doubles and one home while matching junior shortstop/second baseman Kendell Luquis (New Rochelle, N.Y.) with two stolen bases. Junior catcher Denny DeLos Santos (Queens, N.Y.) and junior outfielder/pitcher Joseph Impeduglia (Staten Island, N.Y.) both match Jackson with a home run, with DeLos Santos and Jackson each tallying four RBI while sophomore catcher Hermes Abreu (Bayshore, N.Y.) draws a team-best five walks. 

On the mound, Concordia sports a team ERA of 7.55 with 31 strikeouts and 18 walks in 39.1 innings. Freshman righties Sean Malamud (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Logan Vallias (East Northport, N.Y.) both toss 5.2 innings, with junior RHP Connor Stapleton (Staten Island, N.Y.) fanning a team-leading seven batters in 3.0 innings. 

About the Skyhawks
Stonehill (3-2), entered the NCBWA regional rankings at No. 8 after a 3-2 showing in Myrtle Beach, S.C. 

The Skyhawks are hitting .297 (55-185) with a .362 slugging percentage coming from nine doubles and one home run while tallying 33 RBI and 13 walks. Harrison Sabo boasts a .412 batting average with a team-leading eight RBI while William Kelleher has a team-high three doubles with Matthew Rocco hitting Stonehill's lone home run and John Orzechowski scoring a team-high seven runs on top of five stolen bases. 

On the mound, Stonehill holds a team ERA of 5.80 with 36 strikeouts and 19 walks in 45.0 innings. Michael Young has not allowed a run in 8.0 innings on the mound, earning one of the Skyhawks' victories alongside Richard Ryan and Michael White with Young striking out a team-leading seven batters. 

About the Knights
Queens (2-0-1) travels to Fla., after a season-opening weekend series at Nyack College with the Knights sweeping a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 23 with scores of 8-4 and 13-11 after the series opener was called a tie at 7-7. 

The Knights are hitting .347 (42-121) as a team with a .504 slugging percentage coming from seven doubles, three triples and two home runs with 24 RBI and 17 walks. Three Knights are currently hitting .500 or higher, led by Eric Roubal who boasts a .571 clip with a team-high eight hits and two stolen bases. Louis Antos records a team-high five RBI and two doubles, with Jon Strauss and Ron Linsalato joining Roubal with a triple while Santos and Anthony Scotti both have one home run. 

On the mound, the Knights hold a team ERA of 5.79 with 36 strikeouts and 18 walks in 28.0 innings. Dennis Buckstein fans a team-leading eight batters over a team-high 5.0 innings of work with a 1.80 ERA and one victory. Bryan Krolikowski has Queens' other victory, with Kevin Kochen recording the Knights' lone save off 2.1 scoreless innings. 

About the Fighting Knights
Lynn (8-6) hosts Rollins College in a Sunshine State Conference series and fellow Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) program Wilmington University before Concordia. 

Lynn is currently hitting .306 (149-487) as a team with a .505 slugging percentage off 28 hits, nine triples and 17 home runs. Luis Beltran has a team-high .438 batting average, with Shayne Fontana boasting three triples, four home runs, 13 RBI and five stolen bases while Alec Ojeda and Alejandro Martinez both hit six doubles. 

On the mound, the Fighting Knights hold a team ERA of 4.48 with 102 strikeouts and 66 walks in 120.2 innings. Jake Buxbaum has not allowed a run in nine innings over four appearances, earning a victory and save, while Nicholis Prather boasts 31 strikeouts with two victories that matches Alex Hernandez for the team lead. 

About the Bears
Bloomfield (0-3) takes on Stonehill on Tuesday, Mar. 5 before the non-conference clash. 

Bloomfield is hitting .221 (21-95) with a .263 slugging percentage off four doubles while tallying nine RBI and 14 walks. Tyree Bradley leads the Bears with a .400 batting average while  Darwin Tavarez has two stolen bases and Jason Holguin tallies three RBI. 

On the mound, the Bears sport a 11.25 team ERA with 26 strikeouts and 24 walks in 24.0 innings. Wilfrido Valenzuel logs a team-leading 4.0 innings of work, striking out a team-best six batters. 

About the Owls
Southern Conn. (3-5) travels to the University of Bridgeport for a three-game series and hosts Post University before its Florida trip. 

The Owls begin the month hitting .328 (94-287) as a team with a .502 slugging percentage off 27 doubles, one triple and seven home runs. Tyler Criscuolo and Nick Lamberti both boast .500 batting averages and two home runs, with Criscuolo adding a team-high 13 RBI, one triple and .900 slugging percentage. Anthony Zambito scores a team-leading 12 runs with Mike DeMartino hitting a team-high eight doubles. 

On the mound, Southern Conn. holds a team ERA of 8.86 with 51 strikeouts and 31 walks in 65.0 innings. Nate Carney has logged a team-high 12.0 innings over two starts, while Brendan Ebert sports a team-low 3.68 ERA. Jared Henry strikes out a team-best nine batters and is joined by Tommy Hughes and Brandon White with one victory.
